This once sleepy city in Los Angeles County has become a great place to eat and an exciting food destination. Here are some great Culver City restaurant choices that are sure to please your palate:
Akasha is located in the historic Hull Building and offers morning pastry options, vegetarian dishes, salads, short ribs, as well as a full food and bar menu. This trendy spot is just one example of Culver City’s emerging dining scene.
If you have been yearning for the lightest, flakiest Danish pastries then head over to Copenhagen Pastry on Washington Blvd. This tiny little shop offers fresh pastries, breads, coffee and more. The shop is open Tuesday through Sunday with early morning hours, and closes at 5 pm during the week and 4 pm on weekends. It offers online ordering, take out and some bench seating outside the shop. Very rarely do we see a 5 star Yelp rating with so many reviews (521), but Copenhagen Pastry has done it – check out this local favorite on your way in to work or for a leisurely weekend treat.
K-Zo is fast becoming a Culver City Dining Hot Spot. Owner/chef Keizo Ishida offers a large menu that features salads, seafood, superlative sushi and even ceviche. This Asian restaurant also features some French inspired dishes. They have a 4 star rating on Yelp and have recently won the Open Table Diner’s Choice Award. They are open 7 days a week and have a Sake bar & patio as well as Happy Hour specials.
These are just a few of the great eating spots in Culver City.
