Just because you aren’t a DIY expert doesn’t mean decorating for Halloween has to be hard. All you need is Pinterest and the “Go Get em” attitude. We are in the middle of October, so there is still time to do something awesome with your decorations. This week’s blog will focus on a few awesome, yet simple Halloween decorating tips to try in your apartment.  

Witch pumpkin: grab a large pumpkin and turn it on its side. Now use the stem as a witch's nose and decorate around it using paint or markers. Grab a witches hat and now you have a spooky witch pumpkin to up your decorating game.

Hanging bats: grab a bunch of plastic bats from your local Target or 99 Cents store and go to town hanging those rodents around your apartment. Plastic bats are scary and make for an amazing Halloween decoration.

Spooky door: the first thing trick-or-treaters will see is your door, so why not make it scary? You can make a mummy or even turn the door into a large monster mouth by adding sharp teeth to the doorway. The choice is yours. Just be sure to make it scary.
