Every year designers and pantone select the most popular colors for interior design. This year's colors are inspired by nature, whether it is the sea, the sand, green mountains or coral, adding just one or two of these items to your apartments decor can help bring summer in.

Cobalt Blue – this bold color is fun and exciting! Cover your couch with a cobalt blue throw and some bright colored pillows for an immediate and bold change.

Orange, Yellow and Pink – whether inspired by Southern California's sunsets or fresh produce and flowers at the farmers market, these colors define the best in summer. Place a bowl of lemons on your counter, add orange and pink place mats or create a colorful flower bouquet!

Coral – this warm color reminds us of the sea's coral reefs. Add a pop of color to your bedroom with a throw draped on top of your bed covering.

Lime – this is summer's answer to chartreuse and is easy to add. Purchase a tall glass vase and fill it with limes. Buy some pillows or a rug with lime green to brighten and welcome guests this summer.

Magenta – it is hard to not be happy with a bit of magenta in your Culver City apartment. Add a rug or buy a throw to place on the side of your couch or chair.
