Are you trying to add style to your apartment with the latest color trends?  Each year Pantone predicts interior design color trends and 2016 trends are already out, so say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016 with these color palette trends:

Natural Colors – As Americans turn toward natural, organic foods and materials; Pantone predicts that 2016 color trends for homes will include natural, organic colors as well.  Look for warm rosy clay, sheepskin, dusty mint or eggplant.

Opposites Attract – Many of us decorate using one or two coordinated colors, but interior designers are introducing contrasting colors such as sunny yellow or cobalt blue in their 2016 designs.

Pastel Focused – Pastels are back and will be 2016’s home décor trend.  Select pale peach, tender yellow, palm tree green and wan blue for a soothing look.

Muted Colors – Subtle or muted colors can add a soft feel to any room.  Select patterns with a “smoky” feel to be ahead of the decorating trends.

Vacation Colors – Bringing a bit of your vacation home is a welcome and fun way to decorate any room.  Think Bermuda pink or Greek Isle blue or even Mexican themed colors all can add style and versatility to any room.

Anything Goes – Some designers are starting to show eclectic or psychedelic themed patterns and colors to their interior designs.  For those that are bold, add a piece or two and be ahead of the design curve.

Add these colors to your apartment and stay ahead of the interior design trends.
