Whether you own a home or rent in apartment in Culver City, fall is a great time to catch up on cleaning duties. Creating a fall cleaning check list is a great way to keep organized.
Handy Fall Cleaning Check List
We have compiled a check list for your fall cleaning.
- Turn your mattress. Turn over your mattress and clean all of your bed linens, including comforter, sheets and mattress cover.
- Dust hard to reach corners with a long handled duster. Don’t forget to get behind plants and furniture or in ceiling corners.
- Clean patio furniture. Your patio furniture was well used this summer, be sure to give it a good clean. Check out manufacturers suggestions for proper care.
- Clean out your coat closet. It soon will be time to swap flip flops for boots and life jackets for fall jackets. Get a head start. Empty all of the items in the closet. Make an inventory of what you use and don’t use. Give the floor a good sweep. Replace broken or mismatched coat hangers and then put new ones back facing the same way.
- Vacuum and Spot Clean Furniture. This is a good time to remove the cushions, remove items that have fallen under and vacuum. Don’t forget to vacuum the top of the cushions, do some spot cleaning and take pillows outside for a good shake.
- Clean the Baseboards. We often skip dusting the baseboards in our daily routine. Make it part of your Fall routine.
- Clean Your Refrigerator. The change of season is a good time to clean out the refrigerator and freezer. Empty both compartments and wash down with warm sudsy water. Throw away or label items and place back in.
- Don’t forget the Tub. Place a bag filled with vinegar over the showerhead and clean the tub and drain.
